FiberShare by BitPrairie: Sponsorship, Shop, and Refunds Policy

Renewing sponsorships must meet California's Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code 17600-17606), including online cancellation and the 2025 amendments (AB 2863): clear disclosure, express affirmative consent, a confirmation email, annual reminders for yearly plans, and notice before a price increase.

1. Seller

All sponsorships and official-store sales are made by BitPrairie LLC. Statement descriptor: [BITPRAIRIE* FIBERSHARE].

2. Sponsorship plans and automatic renewal

Current PayPal sponsorships charge once for the month or year you choose and do not renew by themselves. The rules below apply to a plan that does renew, such as a Stripe subscription if one is offered.

Before you pay for a renewing plan, the checkout will show, near the pay button: the plan, price, billing period (monthly or yearly), that the plan renews automatically until you cancel, how to cancel, and any trial or introductory price and what it changes to. You must tick an unchecked box or press a button that clearly agrees to the renewal. We will email a confirmation with these terms and a cancel link.

Yearly plans: we will email a reminder [15-45] days before each renewal.
Price changes: we will email you at least [30] days before a higher price applies, with a cancel link.
USDC payments cover one period and do not renew.

3. How to cancel

Cancel any time, online, at Cancel my plan (enter the checkout email, no wallet or call required), or in Account > Sponsorship > Cancel when a wallet is linked, or by emailing hello@bitprairie.com. Cancellation stops future charges. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Stripe: billing stops at the end of the current period. We set cancel at period end, and access continues until that period ends. PayPal: billing stops immediately. PayPal's cancel API ends the subscription now, and FiberShare keeps access until the end of the period you already paid for.

4. Sponsorship refunds

14-day cooling-off: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, we will refund it in full. [ATTORNEY/KYLE: confirm; this sharply reduces disputes.]
Renewal charged by mistake: if you tell us within [7] days of a renewal you forgot to cancel and have not used new perks, we will refund that renewal.
Otherwise past periods are non-refundable, except where required by law or if we end the program, in which case we refund the unused part of the current period.
If your sponsored animal dies, we will offer to move your sponsorship to another animal or cancel it with a pro-rated refund.
Thank-you gifts are optional, have no cash value, and their absence is not grounds for a refund.

5. Official-store fiber purchases

Products show price, weight, fiber type, and shipping cost before checkout. Sales tax is charged where required.
Returns: unused fiber in original condition may be returned within [30] days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Damaged or not-as-described items are refunded or replaced, including shipping. [CONFIRM.]
Outside-farm products follow that farm's posted return policy. The farm is the seller.

6. USDC payments

USDC refunds, when due, are sent in USDC to the wallet that paid, or by another method we agree on. Network fees are not refunded. Payments sent to the wrong address or network may be unrecoverable.

7. Disputes

Please contact hello@bitprairie.com first. We aim to answer within 3 business days. This policy does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer.
